District is a local espresso bar showcasing the amazing produce of FNQ. All produce is local to the Cairns district including coffee, milk, cheese, meat, bread, baked goods, sugar, and pepper. If something can't be found locally, it is 100% Australian. Some of their beautiful suppliers are White Whale Coffee Roasters, Mungalli Creek Dairy, Blackbooks Tea, Gallo Dairyland, Marshs Butcheries, Honey House Kuranda, O Petit Biscuits, Kaizi’s Coconut Oil, Lick’s Gelato, Annabel’s Bakery, and local fruit direct from farmers. District's main collaboration is with White Whale Coffee Roasters who produce “coffee that does good”. A portion of all coffee sales support the Reef Restoration Foundation. They are also proud members of Plastic Free Cairns and part of the Green Caffeen reusable cup system. District is located just off the highway at the entrance to Holloways Beach. They offer aircon, free wifi, power points, and usb ports for customers. Kids are welcome and they have some educational hip hop books and colouring to keep them entertained.
